District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert announced a civil judgment for illegal dumping against Kenneth Kaeser and his business Pavers Made Possible, a brick and stone masonry company which contracts to the general public.

Between December 2014 and August 2015, Pavers Made Possible illegally dumped waste matter, including bricks, concrete and asphalt at the Sacramento Metro Air Park.  The civil complaint alleged the illegal dumping was a cost saving attempt by the company to avoid paying an appropriate disposal fee.  This practice violated California laws regarding illegal dumping and by giving Pavers Made Possible an unfair business advantage over competitors.   A $30,000 civil penalty was imposed on Kaeser.

A private citizen brought the illegal dumping to the attention of the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Consumer & Environmental Protection Division.
