CASE: Vernon Solomon (Case #23FE020096)

On January 24, 2025, the Honorable Tami Bogart sentenced Vernon Solomon to 62 years in prison.  On November 27, 2024, a jury convicted Solomon of eight counts of committing lewd acts upon a child and four counts of forcible lewd acts upon a child.

From 2016 to 2022, Solomon sexually assaulted the victim for approximately 6 years in Sacramento and Solano counties. The victim was 7 years old when the abuse started and continued until she was 12 years old. Solomon’s offenses included molestation and other sex acts.  He also had porn sites bookmarked online as well as in his web history on his phones and laptop.

Under current California law, Solomon (age 35) will become eligible for release at an Elder Parole hearing once he reaches the age of 50 and only serves 20 years of his 62 -year sentence.  With his in-custody credits, that will be in approximately 18 ½  years.
