Your future as a prosecutor starts here!

The Event

The Justice Academy is a three-day, intensive training program for all first-and second-year law students aspiring to become prosecutors, offering hands-on trial advocacy experience, direct mentorship from seasoned prosecutors, and real-world courtroom exposure. Participants will receive expert instruction in Opening Statements, Closing Arguments, Direct and Cross-Examination, and then will be given the opportunity to refine their skills in a small-group session before a panel of prosecutors from the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office. Each day will culminate in performances before a panel of judges, with top advocates earning awards and a top winner to receive a monetary prize.
