Defendant Sentenced for Sexually Assaulting Four Girls

On September 16, 2025, the Honorable Shelleyanne Chang sentenced Hector Diazlozano to 44 years in prison. On July 7, 2025, a jury convicted Diazlozano four counts of forcible lewd act upon a child and four counts lewd act upon a child.
In 2004, Diazlozano molested three sisters who lived in his neighborhood. One victim was 6 years old when she disclosed Diazlozano digitally penetrated her during a game of hide and seek. A second victim was seven years old when she disclosed being digitally penetrated by Diazlozano during a game of hide and seek and in the kitchen while other kids were playing. Diazlozano molested two additional victims, who were the daughters of his friends. Diazlozano was found to have searched for pornography of young girls.
Under current California law, Diazlozano (age 49) will become eligible for release at an Elder Parole hearing once he turns 50 years old and has served 20 years of his 44-year prison sentence. With his in-custody credits, that will be in approximately 16 years.
