Defendant Convicted of Sexually Assaulting 12-Year-Old Girl

Donald Fambro was convicted by a jury of seven counts of lewd act upon a child, six counts of forcible lewd act upon a child and one count of obscene matter depicting a child. The jury also found true a substantial sexual contact allegation.
Donald Fambro (AKA “Rico tha Producer”) was the boyfriend of the victim’s family member. When the victim was approximately 12 years old, Fambro began to text her from multiple anonymous numbers directing her where to go and what to do. Additionally, Fambro filmed the victim in a bedroom and in the shower without her knowledge. Ultimately, Fambro sexually assaulted the victim on numerous occasions. Many of the acts of molest involved the use of force, fear and duress. Additionally, Fambro filmed many of the acts of molest.
An allegation that Fambro has a prior strike conviction for first-degree burglary will be determined at the sentencing hearing.
Fambro faces a maximum sentence of 167 years in prison. Sentencing is set for November 3, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in Department 20 before the Honorable Michael Sweet.
