Defendant Sentenced for Sexually Assaulting 5-Year-Old Child

The Honorable James Arguelles sentenced Joshua Calderon to an aggregate term of 50 years to life plus 10 years in prison.  On July 6, 2021, Calderon pled guilty to two counts of sexually assaulting a child under 10 years of age and one count of forcible lewd acts on a child.

Calderon engaged in several forcible sex acts with the victim when she was between the ages of 5 and 7 years old. Calderon also showed the victim pornography.
