Defendant Convicted of 15 Counts of Child Sexual Assault

Stanley Mundy was convicted by a jury of two counts of lewd and lascivious act on a child under the age of 14, two counts of lewd and lascivious act on a child by means of force, three counts of rape, two counts of forcible sodomy, two counts of forcible oral copulation, one count of attempted forcible oral copulation and three counts of lewd and lascivious act on a child under the age of 14.
Mundy began sexually assaulting the victim in 2009 when she was 12 years old, forcing her to perform sexual acts. A second victim disclosed to a friend when she was 11 years old that Mundy sexually assaulted her. That friend told the school principal and a report was made to law enforcement.
Mundy faces a maximum sentence of 111 years in prison. The sentencing hearing will be in front of the Honorable Curtis Fiorini on a date to be determined.
