The Honorable Steve White sentenced Chantell Gosztyla and Richard Gosztyla to 91 years to life in prison.  On November 6, 2018, a jury convicted both defendants of multiple counts of lewd and lascivious conduct against a young family member.

The defendants sexually assaulted the victim together and individually for more than one year.  When they were apprehended in Napa County, they had with them passports and $9,000 in cash. It is suspected they were planning on fleeing the country.
