The Domestic Violence Unit is comprised of attorneys, victim advocates, investigators and support staff who are involved in the prosecution of domestic violence cases, including Elder Abuse and Human Trafficking. The Sacramento Homicide Support Network is a support group that provides emotional support to individuals and families facing the trauma of having a loved one murdered. The Network consists of the District Attorney's Victim Witness Program, members of the Homicide Support Group and concerned individuals who have faced this tragedy. Learn More
Victim Witness Assistance Program
The Victim Witness Assistance Program assists victims and witnesses by providing one-on-one guidance through the criminal justice system, crisis counseling, victim compensation application assistance, community referrals and provide special assistance to elder and dependent adult abuse victims.
